Hello! My name is Anna, and I’m an illustrator from Czechia who loves bringing stories for children to life through color, character, and imagination. My work focuses on capturing atmosphere and seeing the world through a child’s eyes — full of curiosity, humor, and wonder.

I enjoy designing expressive characters, building visual worlds that invite readers to explore, and adding playful details that go beyond the words on the page. Whether it’s a gentle bedtime story or a wild adventure, I aim to create illustrations that not only support the text but also add a spark of something extra — a secret smile, a hidden joke, or a new layer to the story.

Bright colors, storytelling, and a touch of humor are at the heart of everything I do. For me, illustrating children’s books is about more than pictures — it’s about capturing feelings, moments, and the magic of seeing the world anew.

  • I graduated from the Secondary School of Art and Design in Ústí nad Orlicí, majoring in Visual Communication.

  • After that, I continued my studies at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, specializing in Comics and Illustration for Children at the bachelor’s level, and later completed a master’s degree in Illustration.

  • During my studies, I spent one semester at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (Poland), where I studied Traditional Graphic Techniques.
